Unsettled Newcastle midfielder Kieron Dyer is back on Tyneside.

Contrary to reports that he was staying in his hometown, Ipswich, Dyer returned to the Northeast yesterday after the collapse of his move to West Ham last Friday.

Dyer's future remains uncertain, with the Magpies hoping West Ham revive their interest in the England international after pulling out of the deal on Friday night when Newcastle increased their asking price from £6m to £8m.
