Glenn Whelan wants a move to the Premiership.

The Sun says Whelan will set a collision course with Sheffield Wednesday if they try to price him out of a move.

Derby and Bolton want the Irish midfielder, while Plymouth have had a £250,000 bid rejected. Whelan is out of contract in the summer and has not agreed a new Owls deal.
