Christie leaving Inverness Caley job

BBC Sport says Caley will confirm Christie's departure today. It is believed that Christie will cite the pressures of the job.

The 41-year-old, who played for both Inverness Thistle and Caledonian before the clubs merged, had been head coach since January 2006.

Caley Thistle midfielder Barry Wilson believes that Christie has had enough.

"I think so, I think he's resigned," said Wilson. "I heard late last night, I got a tip-off. I think Charlie has just decided that enough's enough.

"We're obviously disappointed that it's come to this.

"We're going into work today. We're training later on and maybe Charlie will be there and maybe we'll find out more."
