Capello unhappy with small England talent pool

England boss Fabio Capello insists he is working only from a small pool of talent when compared with Italy.

Capello lamented the lack of talent available to him in the Premier League, compared to the amount of Italian players his counterpart Marcello Lippi has to chose from in Serie A.

"I'm worse off than Lippi, than everyone. I have Welsh players, Scottish, Irish," he said.

"In the Premier League only 35 per cent of the players are English. In Italy it's about 72 per cent."
