Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce admits they need to improve their knowledge of the European transfer market.

Bruce said: "The one area we've got to improve on is the European recruitment market.

"We have to ensure we know that market better than we do.

"We have employed Stan Ternent and Dave Watson to do a bit of stuff for us and they have vast experience and knowledge.

"But we are hoping to get in one more person with vast experience who will be able to cover the European market.

"There are so many players in that market that you may want to tap into and having first hand and top notch info about them is crucial."
