Lee Bowyer admits West Ham are gutted over the spate of injuries suffered by it's new signings.

Bowyer said: "Kieron's move from Newcastle was a stop-start thing, he was coming and signing, and then he had to go back, so when he did arrive, for this to happen is terrible luck.

"Kieron had injuries at Newcastle and this is a bad one - I was watching it.

"It just seems to be our luck. We are signing new players and they don't seem to just be getting little injuries, you are talking about breaks."
