Birmingham City fullback Stephen Kelly expects Carson Yeung to bring in new players should he complete his takeover before the January market.

"With the new chairman there could be an influx of money into the club straight away and they tend to make a bit of a statement," he told the Sunday Mercury. "If it does happen maybe we'll strengthen the squad at Christmas time.

"But nobody's really talked about it, everybody's just focused about what's happening on the pitch."
