Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce has told Cameron Jerome he has the ability to play in the Premiership.
"The one thing he has to put in is consistency. He has got to keep his head down and make sure he is focused on the job ahead and not get carried away just because he has scored two goals.
"It is not enough for him to take the pats on the back from yesterday. He has to be ready to go again tomorrow because that is what the really good players in the Premier League do.
"He had a big price tag on his head last year in the Championship for a young boy but he is learning all the time.
"We bought him to improve and if he keeps on doing that then we will be delighted."
