Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce admits he has no idea how much money he has to spend in January as the club waits for Carson Yeung to complete his takeover.

He said: "It is frustrating because we are all left in limbo. I am a little bit hamstrung but there is nothing I can do.

"I've got to try and do my job from day to day and see what develops.

"David Sullivan (current co-owner) has set a takeover deadline of December 23. I don't think he will move from that. In fact, I know he won't move."
