With midfielder Marc Crosas set to join Lyon on-loan, Barca are using the negotiations to demand first refusal on Benzema, the hottest talent on the European transfer market today.

Crosas will today have a medical in Lyon, but the deal is yet to be rubberstamped with Barca sports chief Txiki Begiristain pressing the French champs to grant them an option on Benzema.
