Martin told Catalunya Radio that there will be some players who will be sold at the end of the season because they "are separated" from the rest of the squad. He revealed that while these players were reported injured, they had been instead isolated from the rest of the playing staff.

Martin made the claims in defence of Barca president Joan Laporta, but would not name the players involved.

He said: "It is unjust that one says that Mr Laporta is not doing anything. These gentlemen, who do not want to work, who are not doing anything, who have not been playing for weeks, have been separated for those weeks. And we disguised that there were injuries.

"But these gentlemen are separated and we have been trying to isolate them from the rest of the team."
