Young Aussie Mitch Nicholson was given his first league starting appearance for Conference South team Dorchester Town and was integral in the Magpies win over Bromley on Saturday.

Nicholson provided an inch-perfect pass to set up the only goal of the match, the last of the Blue Square South season. It was his only appearance in the first team for the season, and looks a solid foundation for him to build on in 2008/09.
