Cheltenham Town boss Martin Allen is determined to keep on-loan West Ham teenager Josh Payne grounded after the youngster's impressive start.

"Josh played very well on Saturday, but he is only 17 and we can't forget that," Allen said.

"I make him do loads of horrible jobs to keep his feet on the ground, like serving tea to the press.

"He always makes sure my stuff is in order, sorting out my boots, kit and trainers, so he doesn't think he is 'Mr Big-time'.

"I am sure West Ham wouldn't want it any other way."
