Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says there's NO WAY BACK for Diego Costa.

Conte today broke his silence on the affair and made it clear that Costa and his agent were told SIX MONTHS AGO that he would be sold this summer.

That came after Costa threw a tantrum after Chinese club Tianjin Quanjin came in with a mega offer in January and the fiery striker was dropped after having his head turned.

Costa has been left at home as he tries to negotiate a move to Atletico Madrid even though they are under a transfer ban until January.

Conte said: “I don't like to talk about players who are not here the only thing I can tell you is in January, the Costa situation was very clear, for the club for him and his agent. For me the situation is closed."
