Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is demanding the sale of Diego Costa this month.

The Sun says Conte is keen for a deal to be pushed through by Monday July 3.

That's the date Chelsea are due to return to their Cobham base for pre-season training.

Costa now faces a difficult choice with his career in west London all but over, despite wanting to stay.

Atletico Madrid, his preferred destination, are in the midst of a transfer ban.
