Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is hoping to add new faces to his Blues squad in January but insists the club will only buy if the right players become available.
Conte explained: "In January it is always difficult to buy great players because the other teams don't want to sell. To buy only to buy, I don't like.
"Not closer, but we have some ideas about this. We are working around these ideas."
One area where Conte confirmed he will not be looking to add to his squad is in central defence where Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill have established themselves as his first-choice back three.
"I don't think we need another central defender, no," Conte said.
