Antonio Conte is sorry with the way his departure from Bari was handled this week.

The Coach's agent and brother, Gianluca Conte, claimed the former Juve man is sad about how things ended up with the Galletti.

"It is not true what President Vincenzo Matarrese said. My brother is not big headed," revealed the agent.

"It's obvious that they didn't come to an agreement regarding certain points. Antonio wanted to stay because he loves the club, and the project, but then things changed."

Juventus had previously shown an interest in Conte but then picked Ciro Ferrara for the job instead.

"It was just a simple interest but we have no regrets. Juve are Juve but there are plenty of clubs out there. We got offers from various clubs including foreign ones.

"My brother is waiting for a serious project which is why he ripped up his ludicrous contract with Bari. Now he is going on holiday with his family, after a long season he needs to rest.

"Then we will consider everything but there is nothing yet."
