Conte: Costa has 2 years left. He is happy at Chelsea!

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has made it vehemently clear that Diego Costa wants to stay with the club.

There has been a great deal of speculation surrounding the Spanish striker in recent weeks with suggestions that his head had been turned by a big-money offer from Chinese Super League club Tianjin Quanjian.

There are also the lingering rumours of a return to former club Atletico Madrid, but after Costa scored the opening goal in Sunday's 2-0 win over Hull City, his manager insisted that Stamford Bridge will likely be his home for the next couple of seasons.

"Diego has two years left on his contract," said Conte.

"He's very happy to stay with us and play for Chelsea.

"Now we must concentrate on the present and not look too far ahead.

"If we do that we risk losing the present, and that's more important than the future."

Costa now has 15 goals for the league leaders who are eight points clear of second-placed Arsenal.
