Mark Connolly has decided to return to Bolton following the end of his initial one-month loan with League Two Macclesfield. The 20-year-old made the last of his seven appearances for the Silkmen in the 4-2 defeat at Rotherham as Brian Horton took the reins a week ago.
A statement on Macclesfield's official website read: "We'd like to thank Mark for his efforts over the past few weeks and wish him well for his future career."
