Confusion reigns over the future of Sunderland's on-loan Marseille striker Djibril Cisse.

Agent Ranko Stojic has been quoted saying a move to Tottenham is on for the France international.

But last night, Stojic told setanta.com: "Tottenham? I stopped being Cisse's agent when he decided to move to Sunderland. I was not sure of that transfer at all.

"The last time I spoke with a journalist I told him that my work with the player is over."
