Liverpool have confirmed that Jurgen Klopp has been appointed the club's new first team manager.
The 48-year-old German signed a contract with the Reds on Thursday evening and will be unveiled to the press on Friday morning.
As of yet, the club is yet to specify the length of the deal but reports suggest Klopp has penned a three-year contract.
Klopp arrives at Anfield to replace Brendan Rodgers who was sacked on Sunday after just over three years in charge.
His most recent job was with Borussia Dortmund whom he left at the end of last season to take a break from management.
During his seven-years spell at the Westfalenstadion, Klopp led Die Schwarzgelben to two Bundesliga titles, one German Cup, two German Football League Super Cups as well as the 2013 UEFA Champions League final.
