Although the Victory sit on top of the A-League table, their form at Etihad Stadium has been uncharacteristically bad this season but Leijer believes it has not dented their confidence ahead of their home clash with Gold Coast United this weekend.
"It's not hard to feel confident. We're top of the table. That's given us all the confidence in the world," he said.
"We've been disappointed with our home form.
"We're top of the table and with home form like that you can only wonder what it would be if the home form was what it should be.
"We want to rectify that and we want to put in a good performance against the Gold Coast."
