Conference North Worcester City dump Coventy City out of FA Cup

Worcester City shocked Coventry City in the first round of the FA Cup yesterday.

Coventry were on the end of the biggest upset of FA Cup first-round weekend as they crashed 2-1 at home to Worcester City.

The Sky Blues, who won the trophy in 1987, were undone by two goals from Sean Geddes as the Conference North minnows secured a famous victory.

Geddes struck the first from the penalty spot just before half-time after Ryan Burge was sent off for the hosts, and grabbed his second in the 55th minute.

Reda Johnson pulled one back with a header nine minutes from time but the 10 men could not find an equaliser.
