The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) has agreed a sponsorship deal with MoneyGram, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The money transfer company becomes an official sponsor of the Concacaf Champions League and will have exclusivity in the money transfer category.
The deal includes naming rights to the competition's golden boot award. The prize, awarded to the overall top scorer, will be known as the MoneyGram Golden Boot Award.
The package of rights includes the right to use Concacaf Champions League marks, promotional rights, activation rights at stadia throughout the region, televised signage, branding in official tournament media and materials, along with extensive hospitality rights.
