Liverpool chief Damien Comolli plans to return to the French transfer market to solve their striker problems.
After being frustrated in talks for Ajax ace Luis Suarez, Comolli has turned to PSG striker Guillaume Hoarau.
The 26 year-old has scored at a consistent basis in Ligue 1 which has led to interest from a number of clubs.
Liverpool aren't the only Barclays Premier League to be in the market for the player, with Aston Villa reportedly tracking Hoarau as recently as November.
