Former Liverpool football chief Damien Comolli has wrote off their chances of keeping hold of Mohamed Salah.
Comolli is convinced the Egypt international will eventually be tempted away.
He told Le Parisien, "Can Liverpool hold Salah? No.
"The proof, they wanted to keep (Philippe) Coutinho and did not succeed. They do not need money. But how do you convince the player to stay if Real, Barça or Manchester City offer double the salary and promise him he'll play in the Champions League final every year?
"Liverpool has just bought sports credibility in the short term. The challenge is to keep it in the long-term."
