Liverpool chief Damien Comolli remains keen on Lille star Eden Hazard.

The Reds made enquiries after Hazard during the summer market, but were given little encouragement with the French champs eager to keep hold of their jewel for this season's Champions League.

Comolli had a scout posted to check on Hazard in action against Rennes last week.

The Reds chief was also having Joe Cole watched, with the Liverpool midfielder impressing on-loan so far this season.
