Celtic star Kris Commons is hoping Anthony Stokes stays with the club this summer.
The Irishman has been offered a new deal by the Scottish champions and Scottish Cup winners and Commons is hoping he soon puts pen to paper in order to keep him at Parkhead for the future.
"I know that the club have offered Stokesy a new contract, I knew that was in the pipeline. Hopefully he signs it soon," Commons said.
"When Stokesy is fit and is on form he is a real threat whether it is scoring goals himself or setting them up for others. His movement is fantastic, he works hard for the team and he sets us up for goals.
"That was certainly the case at the weekend when he laid on two for Hoops pretty much on a plate. He was tremendous.
"He had a nasty injury this season and missed a lot of the campaign. But he has worked hard in training. He has come back bigger and stronger. His work ethic is paying off for him and he is getting his rewards.
