Commons leaves Derby for Celtic

Celtic have completed the signing of Kris Commons from English Championship club Derby County.

The 27-year old Scotland international has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Hoops, just days after Old Firm rivals Rangers dropped their interest in him.

Celtic and Derby have agreed a £300,000 fee for the former Nottingham Forest and Stoke City man who has been in great goalscoring form for the Rams this season with 13 from 26 league appearances.
