Kris Commons is looking forward to having Australian young gun Tomas Rogic as a Celtic teammate.
The 20-year old attacking midfielder will soon seal a £450,000 move from Central Coast Mariners with Commons welcoming him on board with the Scottish champions.
"I heard rumours that Fulham made a bid for him and also that he was supposed to have been going to Reading," he said.
"I've seen him train once, but it seems like he has plenty of ability. I'm sure he'll fit in.
"It's competition not just for me, but Joe Ledley as well and it's always nice to have healthy competition because I think it makes you better.
"But I don't think the gaffer would see it as competition, more just a team getting better and better.
"With a club like Celtic, there is no point bringing in players not good enough to play."
