Getafe striker Adrian Colunga is urging teammates not to get carried away with talk of Europa League qualification.
Getafe have climbed up to seventh place after picking up four points from their last two games.
"It's better to be cautious as the last time we started talking about Europe we suffered a let-down," said Colunga.
"We have to take it one game at a time. Now we will try to get three points against Racing and then see what happens.
"Atletico Madrid (11th place) have stopped picking up points and Sevilla (eighth place) are also slipping down, but they are rivals who are expected to get into Europe."
