Columbus Crew have signed forward Jairo Arrieta to a new deal.
The 30-year old Costa Rican international, who joined the Ohio club in 2012, will be back at Crew Stadium for a third season after re-signing, much to the delight of head coach Gregg Berhalter.
"We are pleased to welcome Jairo back to the club. He's an extremely hard-working player and a dedicated teammate," said Berhalter.
"As he's shown throughout his time in Columbus, Jairo has the talent to score goals and we look forward to his continued contributions in 2014."
Since arriving in Columbus from homeland club Saprissa, Arrieta has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 44 MLS appearances.
