Columbus Crew favourite Robbie Rogers is wanted by Blackburn Rovers.

The People says Kean is lining up a move for Rogers and has invited the 24-year-old Californian over for talks next month.

Rogers - whose full name is the magnificent Robert Hampton Rogers III - is a member of coach Jurgen Klinsmann's US squad.

The German legend is encouraging young players to come to Europe and get some experience as he plans for the 2014 World Cup campaign.
