Columbus Crew acquire DC United's Harrison for play-offs

DC United goalkeeper Chase Harrison has joined Columbus Crew for the MLS play-offs as an injury replacement.

Following the injury to Crew number one William Hesmer on the final day of the regular season, the club have brought in Harrison as back-up for the finals series.

Andy Gruenebaum will step into goals for Columbus and 26-year old Harrison, will come onto the bench for the Eastern Conference semi-finals against Colorado Rapids.

Hesmer is set to miss the remainder of the season after fracturing his shoulder against Philadelphia Union on the weekend.
