Colorado Rapids goalkeeper Stew Ceus will join USL Second Division club Charlotte Eagles on loan to further his development.
The 22-year old gloveman will undergo his second spell with the club after spending time there last season and is open to the fact that he will get regular game time with Charlotte.
“Games are what I look for,” says Ceus. “If my next best step is to be out on loan again and play some more games then so be it and I’m ready for that.”
Last year’s spell was handy for development says Ceus and he was looking forward to experiencing it again.
“I think it was big for my game and my confidence,” cues added. “90 minutes is crucial for any keeper. Just getting my feet wet almost, feeling the game at this level was really big. It was more intense than any of the league games we’d played. There was a lot on the line for that.”
