Reports in Germany's Sonstige newspaper has linked Colorado Rapids Conor Casey with a return to Karlsruhe.

The 27-year old forward spent six months on loan with the German outfit in 2003/04, making a big impression.

The U.S. international has been with the Rapids since 2007 but is believed Karlsruhe are looking to strengthen their squad after being relegated from the Bundesliga last season.
