Reigning MLS Cup winner Colorado Rapids are still believed to be interested in Cardiff City's Martin John.

The 22-year old English-born Canadian left-back has been linked with the Rapids for the past few weeks and reports suggest that Gary Smith is still hoping to bring him to Dicks Sporting Goods Park for the 2011 MLS season.

John has yet to feature in Cardiff's first team this season and was sent out on loan to Conference National outfit Newport County for a few months, making nine appearances.
