The Colorado Rapids have signed midfielder Nick LaBrocca, a 2011 All-Star who also played 61 games with the Rapids from 2007-2009, after acquiring his rights in a trade with Chivas USA on Tuesday.
LaBrocca, 28, is already in preseason camp with the Rapids and will travel with the team to Arizona next week for the Desert Friendlies presented by Tucson FC.
"Nick is an experienced, two-way midfielder who has proven himself in our league and in his previous time with the Rapids," said Rapids Technical Director Paul Bravo. "We're happy to sign him as we continue to add depth and strength to our squad."
