Colorado Rapids have released striker Kevin Harbottle.

The 23-year old Chilean forward joined the Rapids in January but has been waived after making just four appearances.

"We want to wish Kevin well as he continues his professional career," said Rapids technical director Paul Bravo.

"This move allows us the flexibility with our roster that we will need to continue improving our squad this season."
