Colorado Rapids goalkeeper Matt Pickens is seeking a new challenge.
The 31-year old has been with the Rapids since 2009 but is training with Norwegian outfit Stabaek during the MLS offseason.
Rapids technical director Paul Bravo confirmed that Picken was looking at opportunities elsewhere, indicating that he could move ahead of the 2014 MLS season.
"We've been working with Matt to find a solution that is positive for both him and the club, so we're allowing him to explore his options," Bravo told the club's official website.
"He's been a great pro for this club, and we want to help him find a situation where he can play matches."
Stabaek are currently managed by former USA manager Bob Bradley who is preparing his squad for the Tippeligaen season which kicks off in late March.
