Colorado Rapids eyeing Valencia striker Morientes
MLS chiefs are seeking talks with off contract Valencia centre-forward Fernando Morientes.
The former European Player of the Year is ready to quit Spain to continue his career and has turned down offers from Greece and Turkey.
Morientes' minders are now fielding interest from beyond Europe and MLS is emerging as a likely destination.
Colorado Rapids, which are in the market for a centre-forward, have been mentioned as potential early suitors.
