Colorado Rapids youngster Danny Earls was left to rue a missed opportunity when the side lost to bottom-placed DC United last week.
Prior to the unexpected defeat, the Rapids had saluted five times in a row at Dick's Sporting Goods Park but managed to fall 1-0 to the team with the worst record in the league.
However, Earls says the only way to bounce back from a loss like that was to remain positive.
"It's a tough loss, but we have got to look at it with a positive slant," Earls told MLSsoccer.com. "We've been in a great run of form and that was just a bump on the road."
And Earls indicated that the loss to DC means there are no easy games in MLS these days.
"That's professional sports everywhere," he said. "You have to take the opportunities when you get them and be prepared for any game."
