Colorado Rapids boss Smith eyeing European transfer market

Colorado Rapids Head Coach Gary Smith has indicated that fans can expect new signings from Europe as well as goals from new addition, Guyana national team forward Gregory Richardson. Speaking to mlsnet.com, Smith said: "He (Richardson) will hopefully bring a lot of goals. He has a lot of pace to get behind some back lines. There are also one or two more players currently in Europe that we're looking at bringing in."

With regards to his team's recent defeat to the San Jose Earthquakes, Smith is not concerned: "With our three (U.S.) national team players back, we'll look much stronger, we have plenty of time over the next three weeks to put the team together."
