Colorado brings in Agbossoumonde from Toronto

Colorado Rapids have acquired defender Gale Agbossoumonde from Toronto FC.

The 22-year old Togolese-born American heads to Colorado in a trade involving Marvin Chavez, who leaves Denver for Chivas USA, and Luke Moore who has moved to Toronto from Chivas.

"We're excited to welcome Gale to our squad, as he's a talented young player who can add depth to our back line," said Paul Bravo, the Rapids VP of Soccer Operations.

"He has a great deal of experience for a player of his age, both on the club and national level. We want to thank Marvin for his hard work during his short time with us, and wish him the best of luck with Chivas USA."

Agbossoumonde joined TFC in 2013 and went onto make 13 appearances for the Canadian club.
