Colombian defender Mosquera set to leave Portland Timbers

Portland Timbers defender Hanyer Mosquera suggests he is about to leave the club.

The 26-year old Colombian is back in Bogota after being given an indefinite leave of absence from the Timbers in March and indicated on Twitter that he may be set for a new challenge.

He wrote: "Feliz de estar en la capital, preparándome en l parte física para estar a diez puntos para un nuevo reto en mi vida professional," which roughly translates to: "Happy to be in the capital, preparing in physical part to be ten points for a new challenge in my professional life."

Mosquera joined the Timbers from La Equidad in January 2012 but it is believed that he could be returning to the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo.
