Colombian midfielder Giovanni Hernandez is being heavily linked with a move to Major League Soccer.

The 34-year old is out of contract at Atletico Junior at the end of the season and is reportedly attracting interest from a number of MLS clubs.

Hernandez has spent the past three seasons with Junior in the Colombian league and he has previously played for América de Cali, Independiente Medellín, Deportivo Cali (all Colombia), Colón de Santa Fe (Argentina) and Colo-Colo (Chile).

The devout Christian has also represented his nation over 30 times and would be a very handy player in MLS with his ability to score goals from central midfield.
