Fabrizio Coloccini has no regrets joining Newcastle United this season.

The former Deportivo La Coruna defender told the Evening Chronicle: "This is my first season in England and I am learning all the time.

"I am enjoying the experience.

"And I hope it continues."

And on manager Joe Kinnear, Coloccini added: "Joe is a very good coach and manager.

"He explains what he wants, and the players are working hard to do it on the pitch for him and the fans."
