Coloccini has underlined his commitment to the club, having now seemingly given up on moving to boyhood club San Lorenzo.
He told The Journal: “For the moment I think about staying in England.
“I am under contract for two more years and I will stay until the last day. I feel very well.
“I have been at the club for six years and all the support I receive makes me very happy.
“There is nothing with San Lorenzo. Everyone knows what the situation was last year but now there isn’t anything with them.”
