Former Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore is delighted for Gabby Agbonlahor over his recent form.

Collymore was also pleased to see Agbonlahor draw level with Dwight Yorke's 60-goal Premier League record for the club with a strike at Stoke before injury ruled him out of facing Fulham.

"He hasn't been as prolific as he would have liked over the past couple of seasons, but that's essentially because he has played in a wider role rather than as an out-and-out marksman,'' he told the Birmingham Mail.

"But he has been back to his best in recent weeks, netting three times in four games."
