Former Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore says it's time for chairman Randy Lerner to start spending.
Collymore insists Lerner must invest properly in the club or invite someone else to.
The radio presenter used his Twitter account to call on Lerner to 'Invest to the level this league requires or invite someone who will.'
He also took a swipe at the club's players and stated the embarrassing performances could mean relegation:
"At this rate we'll go, seriously. Too many only turning up on "some" of the glamour games, not enough muck and nettles."
